Client Comments:
Tim
N. MBA consultant, changed industries (former analyst)
"When
I was referred to Bonnie, I knew what my career objective
was, but was unsure of how to get there. Bonnie's approach
was a success because she helped me recognize how much control
I have over my environment.
The
learning process combined abstract discussions with concrete
exercises and principles which I continue to apply each day
in my new career, as well as in my personal life.
For me, Bonnie's flexible coaching style has worked very well,
and I recommend anyone considering a career transition or
wishing to confront personal challenges to explore the coaching
process."

Michael
S. (human resources executive - changed job, relationship)
"As
a result of my coaching with Bonnie, I have more fully stepped
into who I am. As a coach, she does a fantastic of job balancing
between championing and challenging me to achieve that which
is most important.
I
value the perspective she brings to our coaching sessions!
Ours has been an extremely beneficial and productive relationship."

How
Does Coaching Work?
We'll
begin with a complimentary sample session to see if we think we'd
like to work together and so you can get the flavor of coaching.
After that:
- Coaching
begins with an intake interview, which lasts approximately
two
hours. Geography permitting, we will meet in person. I will ask
you to have prepared in advance by completing a few written
and
thought-provoking exercises. The fee for this session is $250.
-
Ongoing personal coaching includes three 40 minute telephone
conversations per month which we'll schedule one month in
advance, preferably at the same time each week. (Some clients
prefer two 60 minute sessions; the choice is yours.) The monthly
fee of $350 dollars is due in advance, by the first of each month.
Corporate/leadership coaching rates vary and are customized to
each client.
-
My goal is to help you succeed; I will be as accessible to you
as possible. I welcome and will respond to phone calls, emails,
faxes, and requests for review of written materials (e.g., resumes,
letters, proposals) between calls.
-
The experience gets richer as your confidence deepens and your
efforts unfold. I strongly recommend that you commit to a minimum
three-month coaching relationship. At the end of the three months,
we'll review where we are and proceed on a month-by-month basis.
A typical coaching relationship may extend to a year or longer,
depending on your goals and progress.
As
Your Coach, I will:
-
Guide your discovery process, but you will determine the agenda
for our discussions.
-
Listen without judgement and tell you the truth as I see it.
-
Help you sort and prioritize your values, goals, and challenges.
-
Push you a bit past your comfort zone
ask provocative and
sometimes difficult questions and make requests of you ("homework").
-
Challenge your assumptions and shift your perspectives.
-
Brainstorm ideas, solutions, strategies, and action plans with
you.
-
Hold you accountable and help you work out the blocks to progress.
-
Encourage you to recognize and celebrate your successes!
-
Help you find the humor and fun side of all this
we'll laugh
together a lot.
